A registered patent agent, Caitlyn Sun’s primary focus involves preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent Office. Dr. Sun brings experience gained as a member of biochemical engineering research groups at Northwestern University and Stanford University. In these capacities, her primary areas of focus included analytical chemistry, biotechnology, and quality control in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sun is an internationally recognized scholar having published numerous works in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Sun’s many years of experience in a research setting allow her to understand complex scientific concepts and articulate them to others.
