Heather Whitaker Goldstein

As an Asheville lawyer at The Van Winkle Law Firm, Heather Whitaker Goldstein is adept at handling complex business-related issues. Her practice areas include commercial disputes, antitrust and trade regulation, labor law, intellectual property litigation, nonprofit, patent / trademark infringement litigation. She also focuses on metadata, e-discovery, and electronically stored information. Her passion for nonprofit organizations can be traced back to her time as Executive Director of the Asheville Jewish Community Center. Before joining our firm, she completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Welton Curtis Sewell, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Heather is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina, the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third and Fourth Districts.
