Two companies, Linamar Corporation and Georg Fischer AG, have joined forces
to create GF Linamar LLC. Recently, the joint corporation announced they
will work together to create 350 job openings by building a state-of-the-art
aluminum die casting site. The company states the site will be located
in Henderson County, North Carolina. GF Linamar LLC will focus on manufacturing
driveline, powertrain, and structural mechanisms for the automotive industry.

Board of Directors, states the company’s decision of location, in
Henderson County, reinforces the idea that various global corporations
view this area as a desirable destination for employment. The Chief Executive
Officer of GF Linamar LLC agrees, stating Henderson County is ideal for
the company, potential employees, and the future and growth of the company
in the United States.
When Will Construction Begin?
As of now, the company is scheduled to appear in Ferncliff Park in 2017.
Over the following seven years, the company expects to invest roughly
$217 million into building and equipment expenses. In addition, within
the following five years, the company estimates they will create about
350 jobs that will pay an average wage of $47,738 annually.
