Hendersonville Chamber announces recipient
of Van Winkle-sponsored award

February 8, 2008 -- Joanie Fischer, President/Publisher of Fischer Publications, Inc., has been selected by the Small Business Committee of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce as the Small Business Leader for the fourth quarter of 2007. This award is sponsored by The Van Winkle Law Firm as part of its centennial celebration.

The distinction is awarded based on several criteria: the recipients must have owned a small business in Henderson County for more than three years, the business must have grown and expanded the local labor market, and the business must have given back to the community through non-profit avenues.
