Van Winkle attorney Robert H. Haggard featured in 2012 North Carolina Super Lawyers

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (January 27, 2012) – The Van Winkle Law Firm announced attorney and partner, Robert H. Haggard, was featured in the latest issue of North Carolina Super Lawyers.

Haggard is interviewed on his background as a military JAG officer, a long-time member of the Asheville Rotary Club, collecting antique tractors and practicing law in the area of trust and estates. Collaborating with the Rotary Club of Copán, Honduras, Haggard helped organize a medical and dental outreach program for underserved Hondurans. The week-long clinic serves thousands of patients and is in its fifth year.

Haggard is board certified in estate planning and probate law. He has been practicing law with The Van Winkle Firm since 1978. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a frequent lecturer, workshop participant and the immediate past chair of the Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.

Haggard has been named to the list of North Carolina “Super Lawyers” since 2006.
