On December 12, 2011, Lindsay Parris Thompson of The Van Winkle Law Firm was accepted as one of the newest members of the Bar of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Lindsay joined The Van Winkle Law Firm’s Land Use group in 2008, focusing her practice on real estate, land use and property owner associations. At Campbell University law school, she was the property teaching scholar and a legal writing scholar, as well as a research assistant for two professors. Thompson practices law in the real estate and mortgage industries.
