Van Winkle welcomes three new attorneys
The Van Winkle Law Firm has welcomed three new attorneys to the firm.
Jeffrey G. Dunlop has joined the Tax, Business and Estate Planning groups. He provides a broad array of tax advice with respect to business transactions and operations, including mergers, acquisitions, real estate transaction, state and local tax issues, and more. Dunlop received a juris doctor from Mercer University in 2005 and a master of laws in taxation from New York University in 2006. He also holds a B.A. in psychology from Stetson University. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s taxation section.
Lindsay M. Parris has joined the Business, Tax & Real Estate groups, with her practice focusing primarily on land use law and property owner associations. She received her juris doctor from Campbell University, graduating with honors in 2008. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English and American history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Parris is active in the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association.
John D. Veazey has joined the Estate Planning and Administration group, focusing his practice on trusts and estates. He received his juris doctor from the University of North Carolina in 2006, and he also holds a bachelor’s degree from the university. Prior to joining Van Winkle, he worked as clerk for Justice Paul Newby in the North Carolina Supreme Court. He spent two years on the staff of the North Carolina Law Review, including one year as articles editor.
