Born
in Miami, Scott moved to Asheville at age five. He and his wife, Megan,
have one daughter, Kira. Scott has studied both Chinese and Japanese
and was a founding member of the Asian Media Club at UNC Chapel Hill.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming and exotic
foods.
