Since joining The Van Winkle Law Firm in 1983, Larry has practiced in the areas of business and commercial law. This includes the formation of business entities, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, employment issues, taxation, collections and employee benefits. He is active in the business and tax sections of the North Carolina and American Bar Associations.

Practice Highlights

• Larry represented a heavy equipment manufacturer in a multi-million-dollar sale of dealership requiring Hart-Scott-Rodino filings.
• He represented a restaurant franchisee in a corporate split-up resulting in franchisee selling ownership of more than 30 stores.
• Larry also represented a petroleum product distributor in numerous acquisitions over a period of more than 20 years, resulting in growth into one of the area’s largest distributors.
