Kathleen C. Rose

Kathleen joined The Van Winkle Law Firm's Trusts & Estates Practice Group in August 2012. She received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, Kathleen served two years on the staff of the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, including one year as an Executive Editor. She also worked as a student attorney in the Wake Forest University Elder Law Clinic, providing free legal assistance to moderate income seniors in the Winston-Salem area. Kathleen practices in both the Hendersonville and Asheville offices of The Van Winkle Law Firm.

Kathleen's practice centers on traditional estate planning, estate administration, and trust administration, with an emphasis on elder law needs such as special needs trusts, long-term care planning, and guardianship work.
