Cindy focuses her practice in real estate and banking with a concentration in commercial transactions.
Practice Highlights
- Over 28 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions including preparation and negotiation of leases, contracts, and easements. She also has extensive experience in representing developers in purchases of large acreage.
- Served as in-house counsel for the real estate department of McDonald’s Corporation for 10 years. While at McDonald's, Cindy handled real estate transactions throughout the United States.
- Represents lenders by, among other things, preparing loan documents, reviewing loan packages (including title work), and advising on miscellaneous issues.
- Represents buyers and sellers in complex commercial transactions.
- Represents borrowers and lenders in SBA loan transactions.

Cindy was born in Dublin, G.A., grew up in High Point, N.C., and moved to Asheville in 1994. She and her husband, John, love to travel throughout the U.S. and abroad. They have one son and two grandchildren.
One of Cindy’s favorite memories is seeing the Beatles in concert at Fulton Stadium in Atlanta in 1965.
